Welcome.
Don’t own a guitar? ...so rent one!
If you are not sure if guitar is for you, or a parent thinking it might be a fad for your child then rental is your answer.
A fair bit of kit is needed for an electric or bass set up; an amp, lead, strap, gig bag and of course a guitar to put it in. This costs from around £100 for a basic beginners package but is a lot to pay if you are not sure if guitar suites you or your child.
By renting a begiinners package from me you can decide if it's the right choice.
I even rent out classical guitars even though beginners guitars are quite cheap to buy (£30 - £40). This means you or your child can try out any type of guitar before you go and buy - saves wasting £40 when they want to play electric or you fancy a change!
This isn’t about me making a profit as you can see from the detail below, it’s about me understanding the costs involved and letting you have a go first.
I just need to see 2 forms of ID with your name and address shown dated in the last 3 months.
So how does this work?
You pay:
- £40 deposit refundable on return of guitar in good condition
- £3 extra per week on top of the lesson cost (£15 per week in total)
You get:
- Beginners classical, electric or bass guitar and bag .
- Then for electric and bass you also get:
- Practice amp
- Guitar lead
- Strap
If guitar is for you then great! As long as the rental guitar is returned in good condition then you get all of your money back (deposit plus rent) to buy the guitar you want.
If it’s not for you then as long as the guitar is in good condition you get your £40 deposit back.
